Stardust

I haven't ridden Stardust in ages. She was pretty good today, though in the shoe, she gave me a bit of trouble when I tried to canter her. She did a little bit of cantering, but not as much as I asked for her. She was being lazy. Whatever, I'm seriously rusty, but it's been awhile. I also think Joel is losing his memory. I've been riding for a little over a year and I think he's forgotten that.

Spin Doctor

Today, I had Spin Doctor who was a doll. We had a trail lesson and I walk, trotted and cantered him. It was pretty super, even though I hadn't been on a horse in ages. But that's cool. Whatever. As long as he was good and I hadn't completely lost my touch!

Sign Me Up

We went on a trail lesson because I told him I was really tired. It was great because Sign Me Up is a doll. I lead the trail for a little while. We cantered and I swear, when Sign Me Up canters I get really scared because because he takes such large, violent gaits and I'm just...sooo not prepared for that. I really feel like I'm going to get flung off, especially since I know the girth on the saddle I use always loosens some.

Sign Me Up

Sign Me Up was fun today. He was good. It was fine. Joel had Spider who gave him a bit of trouble getting into a canter, but he did. Spider used to be a talented rodeo horse. But then when they stuck him in the rodeo, he wouldn't perform. It was nutters. It was really funny because I got off to close the gate and had to disturb a couple on a bench to get back on. But anyway, the lesson went really well, Sign Me Up cantered just fine and I stopped bouncing around like a motherfucker. But towards the end he started to get rowdy. It was kind of nutters. Apparently Sign Me Up is a real hassle in the Shoe and it was impressive that I got him to even move at all, let alone canter. Sweet.

I'm still really bouncy though, I'm trying to fix that but it's hard. I don't know if it's me or it's because my saddle blows and my stirrups are too long. Because the saddle that goes on Stardust, I'm a shitload less bouncy. It's really hard to not bounce on Sign Me Up's saddle.

Sign Me Up

Today I had Sign Me Up for the first time, who's known for his horrible kicking and biting. Normal people aren't allowed to go down his row of horses because of his kicking. Apparently, he's really horrible in the Shoe. And that's where we went. I was really apprehensive about riding him, because I'd heard things about him. But I was really happy to try a new horse, just to see if I can work with another. So when I first got on him, he was totally following Spider's butt, and I didn't understand why. Then I realized when he lunged forward and nipped Spider. Spider kicked a little bit, but Sign Me Up moved away. Needless to say, I kept a safe distance after that.

But in the Shoe, he was wonderful. He obeyed my every cue. He walked, trotted, and cantered on cue. He was seriously, very good. I don't understand how people could have problems with him because I didn't have any problems. The only problems I had was me bouncing around out of shock because he was so good. I didn't do so well this lesson, but Sign Me Up was perfect. He listened so awesomely. My stirrups were a little off and I adjusted it and it was a lot better.

Stardust

Mmm, so I had Stardust because Emma was lame today. I went up to Walker and was like, "So who do I get if Emma's out? I'm good with anyone. And he's like, "Annnyoneee? Chip!" And chip's a miniature, I obviously can't ride him. That and he doesn't even know how to be ridden. I'm like, "Riiiight." And he's like, "Well, Chip does need some excerise!" Lol.

But yes, I had Stardust, and I took her into The Shoe. Now, I remember the last time I had Stardust in the Shoe. I recall it being rather miserable because she was fucking with me and totally not moving. She gets really weird and bitchy in the Shoe because she doesn't like to work. But she was great! She tried to mess with me a bit, but I wouldn't let her. She did well. I walk, trotted, and cantered her. Her canter is like, the best thing ever.

When we got back to the barn, they had taken out the carriage! For carriage rides!! They hooked up Ferg. Very, very awesome. Gertrude or Tonka would look awesome in the carriage, because they're big and black. But Ferg was awesome too. But it's very cool. The carriage is so white and shiny. Lol. Johnny's leaving the stables!! He was the first person to be nice to me!! I'm really sad he's going to Florida!! I'm glad I caught him before he left.

Today's lesson was so awesome. I had Stardust, whom I haven't had in ages. But she and I have a freaky past, with what Tonka running around bridleless and Stardust freaking out. Lol. But today we had a trail lesson, and it was just a shitload of tearing around the park and cantering tons. Her canter is amaaazing. I'd forgotten how smooth she is. She's not as gorgeous as Emma, but she certainly is less of a bumpy ride.

But anyway, Stardust listened to my every cue. She was such a sweetheart. Absolutely perfect! Next week, I go back to Emma. Hopefully, a month and a half of not riding her won't fuck the good attitude we have with each other up because I don't want to start over with her being a stubborn bitch.

Invisible

It's been awhile since I went to the stables. I was happy to see all the horses. I barely saw Emma, but she didn't look so good today. I rose Invisible, whom I've been wanting to try out for awhile. He is so huge. He had a very large gait and kept catching up to Katie when we trotted. But he listened to everything I said. He was a doll. Definitely needed less urging then Emma usually does. He's great. Though I miss Emma.

I'm going to ride him next week. Bah. I am moving to a new horse. Which kinda stinks, because Emma has been my baby for a long time. I saw Anna and Riza there, big hugs all around. Invis is Anna's baby. Emma is my baby. Bah. But I didn't ride Friday because Joel can't do Fridays anymore. Poop. I gave him gloves. Lol.

Today, it was just a trail lesson. It was cold, but not as cold as the last time. I was wearing thermal pants and shirt anyway. Nothing special either. A lot of trotting and walking, so I could get used to Viz. Riding a new horse, you can't just leap into a canter. Viz's trot is waay smoother then Emma's. But I've totally gotten used to Emma's way bumpy trot. Sigh. But Viz is cool. I gave him carrots, and he 'kisses' me. By licking my face or my hair. He thinks that kissing me will get him carrots. He's so right. Lol.

I don't know what was wrong with the weather today, but it was cold. I've horseback rode in the winter, but today was ridiculous! I wore 5 layers today, and I was still cold. My gloves, boots and jeans were just not enough. By the time I jumped off Emma, I couldn't move my toes or feet. The weather put a damper on such an amazing ride! We cantered all around the park. I love it when Emma canters, she's so fast and smooth. Especially since the cold made her absolutely hyper today. Joel had Katie, and boy, Katie's old...and was acting like a 2 year old. Crazeh.

I love my Emma. But she's a fucking princess. I have to warm her bit in my underarms before I put it on and feed her carrots or she misbehaves a bit. Fuckin' brat, but I love her. Then afterward, I wrapped myself in a horse blanket and stayed in the front room, the only damn place with heat and just huddled next to the heater. Not before I used Gertrude's throat as a hat. Lol. Her throat is warm and she kept my head warm. She didn't care. She let her head rest on mine for awhile.

Then I distributed carrots, and they all nickered for one. When I got to Charm, I ran out!! She was so pissed I had to run away she was neighing so loud. Hahaha.

Emma

My lesson was pretty good today, except that the dirty 'ol farrier was there, and everyone had to go around him and stuff. There were 2 British girls and 1 guy getting ready to go for a trailride. I accidentally stepped on the British guy's foot. And he was like, "I'd rather you step on my foot then him." pointing at Professor. Lol.

Anyway, I rode Emma as usual, walk trot canter. Joel on Spider again. When we got to the Shoe, Fran and her student were there, and Emma was being slooow. I was so embarassed, but I was also being kinda lazy. Then when they left, Emma did fine. Until this guy that Joel knew came around. A cute young guy who smiled at me too much. I couldn't concentrate because he was watching me and I couldn't get her into a canter and was bouncing all over the place because I was forgetting to post. Darn pathetic. Darn cute boys. Apparently this guy was a really good rider too, who'd been riding since he was like, 6. So I made an ass of myself. Lol.

I have nothing really good to say, except that I gave some ponyrides and didn't get any tips, which sucked. I want tips. Lol.

Emma

I get to the stables and I see Joel getting Spider ready, and I know it's going to be rough going back. The stables is basically empty, so I basically have the whole place to myself, it's great. So I go to Emma, groom and tack her up. I take her out and wait for Joel to get on Spider, and then we're off. We go to the Shoe, and just do a couple of figure 8 excerises, some trotting, posting and a bit of canter. The lesson would've been awesome, had we not so many interruptions.

Like a stupid lady with her dog scaring the shit out of Emma. She's all like, "I didn't know that horses are scared of dogs." Geez, what a retarded. And then when I was done with my lesson, Spider became an asshole, got loose, and pranced around, galloping and bucking. He was ridiculous. My perfect Emma just stood there waiting patiently. She's my lovely hobag. Ha ha.

Somewhere along the line, I had to adjust my saddle, so I got off. When I got off my sweatshirt, shirt, and bra somehow got caught. I have NO idea, so don't ask me. Lol. I had to haul myself back up on Emma, and unlatch myself. Lucky no one saw, but it sure was damn ridiculous. Like seriously? If Emma had been another horse, I'm sure that shit would've been pretty dangerous. Gah. This is why I guess I shouldn't wear sweatshirts that are 50 times bigger then me. Lol. But now I'm extra careful when getting off.

Emma

Today was a good Shoe lesson. Emma did so amazingly well. I groomed and tacked her up as usual. And then we went to the Shoe. Joel on Florida. The only shitty part of the lesson was when these bunch of guys walked past the ring and talked really loudly and wore ridiculously bright colors like red and green on their jackets. They totally spooked Emma and she darted underneath me. I practically fell off, but held on and clambored back up. They laughed as they walked by, and I was just so goddamn pissed off. That shit's dangerous. Also, a stupid moron of a girl jogged and suddenly darted towards Emma and spooked Emma again. Thankfully I kept my seat. But seriously. What a moron. I was like, "That's dangerous, don't do that." And the bitch ignored me. Not even an apology. God, sometimes I really hate people. No common sense and no goddamn manners.

But other then that, my lesson was great, and nothing went wrong at all. Emma did everything I asked of her, and she was lovely as usual. Joel says that I'm going to move on to another horse, but I luff t3h Emma. I like riding her lots. That and I've grown so used to her and grooming her in her big fat stall. I don't want to pay attention to any horse. Lol.

I also took a lot of pictures today on Emma. Here.

Emma

Today was a good trail lesson. A bit windy though. I groomed Emma, tacked her up (after looking around for the saddle that I always use). Anyway, when I bridled up Emma and then she stepped on my foot. Oh my god did it hurt. But no toes broken, thankfully. Today, Joel had Spider who was a complete ass today. We were cantering, and he farted and it smelled. Hahaha. It was really funny. But then on our way back to the barn, he totally just stopped and wouldn't move. It was ridiculous.

Emma was great. As usual. The trail lesson that we went on today, was completely different from the usual trail rides that we'd ever gone to. I got to lead and discover new places in the woods. Except I think the place called 'Canter Hill' is haunted. It's a big foresty place with a huge bridge that you go under. And it's just mad scary. That's where Spider refused to go down. But anyway, I love Emma's canter, it's so smooth and graceful. Unfortunately for me, I had the worst posture ever today because I was mad sick with a headache. But it was still fun, even though I was freezing. I leaned over and totally buried my hands in her mane. Yay warm horse. Rofl.

Then afterward, a bunch of us were chillin' and I got pulled into a pile of dirt, horse crap, hay and wood chips. Itchy butt. Lol. Then I ran around and dispensed carrots like a mofo. Lol.

Emma

Today was a pretty good lesson. I tacked up Emma, and Joel took out Florida. Emma was great walking and trotting in the Shoe. Usually no one can get her to go without a crop. But she's always fine for me. Anyway, the walk and trot was good. But the canter wasn't so hot. She has this problem with going to the right. So it was just not happening. She was a little more willing to canter in the reverse way though.

Then afterwards, I helped Joel's new student who did shit without anyone telling her to. It was just kinda damn weird and she just kind of got in the way when I was trying to tack up Stardust for her. Then Stardust got taken out, and Joel used Bingo as a lead. BIG MISTAKE. I've ridden Bingo before, and he's a poopyhead. He's a barn rat. He's totally attached to the barn, and he doesn't go unless you have someone personally lead him out.

Joel tried to get him to go, and he wouldn't go. He started prancing around and misbehaving because everyone lets him get away with it. No idea why. Joel got a crop and Bingo still wouldn't go. It was a real pain in the ass. Bingo pranced towards Stardust, and freaked Stardust out. The new student was on Stardust and I grabbed Stardust and took her away from Bingo. But where I was, there was only so many places I could go, and Bingo was totally freakin' out, making Stardust freak out. So I'm holding onto Stardust.

Finally Johnny grabbed Bingo, and started leading him away from the barn, which is all anyone needed to do in the first place. However, Joel's new student was so freaked out. She was like, "I want to get off. I want to get off." So we got her off, and there was no lesson for her because Stardust hopping a little freaked her out. Stardust wasn't so bad, in my opinion. But I can see why any new student would want to stop. Bingo x Stardust= Not good.

I've been riding Emma so long, I've forgotten how much Stardust can flip out.

Today really wasn't a lesson because the rain was just pouring down. But I went to the stables anyway, and groomed Emma and Sign Me Up. Then putzed around with the other d00ds. We threw Riza into the pit (yay manure), which was thoroughly amusing. Then ran up the ladder to the hay loft and rolled around there. I'm so lucky I got one hay bump. Right on my arm. Bingo has hay bumps, they look nasty. Poor Bingo. I hate riding Bingo, on a sidenote.

Then we ran to the store, got pizza, and splashed each other by kicking the puddles around from the rain. Then I went and hung around Emma for awhile. She was being a ho because it was raining and she was cranky, and totally harassing Junction who was in the stall next to her. She kicked the wall a couple of times. Feisty. Somehow in between all that, I got crap smeared all over my shirt. Poop. Hahaha.

My baby Emma was absolutely FAAABULOUS today. From the beginning of the day, to the end. Absolutely WONDERFUL. I went into her stall, she bowled me over, looking for carrots. I gave her a few, and then put on her bridle. DUDE. I am short. And she is a goddamn TALL horse. So she LOWERED HER HEAD for me. And when I fumbled because she was being so good, she lowered her head even more!! I mean, she's always good with the bridle, but today she was EXTRA EXTRA good! It was positively wonderful!

Then, Joel on Geronimo, and me on Emma went to the Shoe. Emma was great. The walking and the trotting was hot, but the cantering...not so hot. Meh. I need to work on that a lot more. But whatever. Went over some jumpies, which were fine. It was good shiznit. Lots of fun because she was so terrific today. I did a lot of reigning today too. Trotting and shit. Lots of westerny-shit. Yay today was good. But too bad I couldn't stay at the barn long, cuz I have a crapload of homework to do. Poop.

I hadn't been on a horse for like two weeks. So it felt really good to tack Emma up and ride. I don't have anything really to say, except I just practiced. I was a little off and posted bad because I wasn't used to this saddle and I was wearing slippery jeans. But it was okay. It was quite windy, because a hurricane is coming, and Emma got spooked a little. But other then that, it was a very good lesson. We were in the Shoe, and Joel had Geronimo, who still gets spooked by everything except his own hooves. No wait, that even scares him too. Ugh.

But anyway, afterwards, I met Joel's new student. Which for me, was instant dislike. But I don't think he realized that I didn't like him. Whatever. I helped him put his bridle on, and adjusted his girth and stirrups. Blah. Whatever. It was a slow day so I just took a couple of pictures on my camera phone with me and Emma. Haha. It was fun.

Today I brought Jessica along, but she didn't ride or anything. She did spoil the horses with baby carrots that I had lying around. I went to Emma's stall, and found that she had been groomed but not tacked. So I found my saddle that I adore and tacked her up. Then Joel pulled out Spider. We didn't go out to The Shoe though. We went around the park, and rode around there. It's a nice park because there's trees and forest and bugs. I got bit by a bug. It itches. But anyway, we walked, trotted, cantered and tore around the huge park. There were little girls that ran towards us going, "HORSIES!" And Joel made them stop. I'm scared of little girls running at my horse.

Then afterwards, I took Emma and gave lessons to the people in the Pony Club. They're little kids that are all happy and fun loving and love t3h horses. So I had to lead them around and help them out and stuffs. It was fun. I guess. Until the little girl wanted to cut Emma to the right, and I was leading Emma left because that was the way to go...Emma bit me. It was sad. And so now I have an Emma bite. Emma has never bitten me before, the poopyhead.

Afterwards, I gave her a shitload of carrots and spoiled her rotten. Riza gave me two bag of carrots because she owed me carrots. Everyone tends to steal my carrots because they are carrot theives. And to pay me back, Riza was a sweetheart and got me carrots. I was happy, because I hadn't brought carrots today.

Okay. Geranimo is such a bad lead horse because he keeps futzing around like a mofo. Everything scares him. So he skitters and dots. What makes it worse is that it's absolutely annoying to groom and tack him when there is fuckin' construction next to the barn. So I had to take him inside to groom him. Which blew, because the weather was so very nice. Then I went to go check on Emma, to see that she had an English saddle on her. So I had to lug the saddle off (it was light), and replace it with a Western saddle (which was heavy).

My lesson went well, we went to The Shoe, and I did fine. Emma was a little prick towards the end, because I was really tired and wasn't keeping a good hold on her. But all in all it was good. I'm having Emma next week again. I've been having her a lot lately, but it's ok. I really like her. I think that's why Joel keeps keeping me with her. Because he knows I like her. But eventually, I will have to switch to tougher horses again.

Afterwards, I tacked up Sign-Me-Up and Bingo with English saddles for some people's trail rides. English saddles are way easier then western, but I like western better. Then I took Katie out for a roll, then groomed her, cleaned her hooves (almost got whacked in the face with her back right one) and smathered that hoof shit all over and under her hooves with my bare hands because I couldn't find the one with the brush. So I did it with my hands. I didn't clean her left back hoof well enough, so I got dirt and crap all over my hands along with the icky hoof gunk. It was fun though.

Then after Joel took Rocky for a roll, I gave him a quick wash off. Because he's lame and blind and he rolls in his own crap and shiznit. He was pretty clean afterwards. It was good. Then the farrier's came, and Spice got adopted, so they're going to have a free stall. Which probably means either the barn will get a new horse or a new boarder. I mean, we just got Charm, who everyone has been coddling cuz she's the 'new mare' and shiznit like that. The farrier's...I don't like them, even though they put nice new fancy shoes onto the horses. They're just kind of mean and gruff and cranky and don't want anyone in their way.

Emma

Today my lesson was pretty damn good. I'd tacked up Spider for Joel, and I used Emma again. Last week was really good, and this week was really good. Emma was just so damn good at listening to my cues when we'd gotten to the Shoe. Unfortunatelly, she got seriously spooked by a tractor and wouldn't go near a certain area around it. So we lunged around on the other side with a lunge line. It was a good lesson though because she was listening to me like a mofo. When Joel teachers me in the Shoe, he gets off his horse, and ties 'em up to a tree in the ring. So when he went to go back on Spider, Spider ran away and started rearing really high and bucking and running around to eat grass. Joel kept moving after him, and yelling at him. This happened last week too, but I had forgotten about it because of the rain. It was darn crazy. Spider would canter away from Joel and like, charge at me and Emma. Emma didn't seem to care, but I'd urge Emma away from him. Luckily Emma isn't one to spook at other horses. If I were on Stardust, it'd probably be horrific. Finaallly, Spider stopped to graze and Joel got on him. I had to get off and open the gate, since we didn't want to take the chance of Joel getting off, and going through that again. But I can ground mount really well, so it was okay.

Back at the barn, it was just a lot of fooling around. As soon as I put Emma in her stall, they took her out so the little pony club camp kids could paint her again with their little hands. It was cute. Lol. Then they took pictures, washed her off, and I loaded her on carrots. Then Johnny came around in his riding gear and pretended to be a sexy model, which amuses me. The kid's like, 16, and he's pretty damn hilarious. He tried to stick his finger in my ear, but I turned and he poked me in the corner of my eye. Rofl. Then the sky was getting cloudy, and Anna and Ilana were going to go out for Anna's lesson. So Ilana was like, "OK. WE ARE GOING TO GO OUT. NOW." So they pulled out their horses and as they mounted, Fran came out and seemed to be arguing with them. So Ilana and Anna came back in with the horses. Obviously Fran said they couldn't go. Daria, who was also going to ride, was like, "I really hate Fran right now." In a pouty voice because obviously she wanted to ride.

But then CRACK BOOM LIGHTNING. RIGHT over the barn. Everyone suddenly went, "FRAN IS SO RIGHT." or "FRAN IS A GENIUS." Hahaha, and Fran was like, "SEE! I TOLD you!" It was hilarious. The rain started pourrring like crazy and Anna got all depressed because she really wanted to ride. We all chilled for awhile, huddled around the opening of the barn. But it was just a thundershower, and passed quickly, so Anna and Ilana and Daria and everyone who hadn't been able to ride, got to ride. Then Riza, me, and Fran passed out the feed to the horsies and then we sat around and chillaxed.

Also, I can't get Emma to canter for the life of me. I can get her into a good steady trot, but not a canter. She just trots and I get off balanced when I cue her to canter. She has a very bumpy trot and the only way I don't fall off is by posting. :(

Emma

So, I got to the barn rather early, and Joel called in and said that he was going to be late. So I putzed around with some of the other stable homebodies. Unfortunately, by the time Joel did come (which was only a half an hour late), he started yelling at me because I hadn't groomed or tacked up Emma (which I really should've done, but I just totally wasn't thinking). So I groomed, tacked her up, and pulled her out. Joel used Spider.

So we went to the Shoe, and did some excerises and stuff, and I did really well. Emma listened to all my cues. I was really impressed with Emma and myself. It was a pretty damn good lesson. So on the way back to the barn, I hear thunder, and I'm like, "Crap." Two seconds later, rain begins to pour heavily. So Joel on Spider and me on Emma sit under a tree. I let Emma tear off some tree leaves as a snack, and she ends up taking advantage of it until I kick her. Joel then decides that the rain isn't going to let up, and we'd just better go back to the barn. By now, both of us are sopping wet like we'd just been dunked into a pool. Halfway back lightening appears, so we're like, "Crud." and trot the way back cuz it's faster. Cantering the way back might've been a little too dangerous, so we didn't do that.

We get back to the barn nice and safe, and then the stupid goddamn rain stops. I'm like, "SO not fair!" Anyway, I bring Emma into her stall and she's all itchy and starts rubbing herself against her stall. So I get a curry comb and start taking out the dead hair and scratched her with my nails and the comb. She kept making little pleasure faces. It was hilarious. After that, I did some things like roll Katie, help this girl onto Spin Doctor, feed the horses carrots. Then Fran couldn't find Sham's bridle and got very angry and said no one could leave until we found it. We found it eventually. But then we were caught in the rain, and stuck there. So me and a few other stable ppl chilled out on the shavings and talked. Fun stuffs.

Stardust

Joel rode Geronimo the super skittish paint, Jess' horse. My god, is that horse skittish. Like hard core. I was so not comfortable riding in back of him, and not in front of him either. And everytime I went to the side, Stardust would lay back her ears and try to lunge and bite him. It was really crazy. And extremely distracting. We headed to the Shoe, but someone was on one of those lawn mowers that you sit on, which would scare the shit out of Geronimo, so we just had a trail lesson instead. Which was okay. I really, really wanted to ride Invisible, but it just didn't happen. Originally, I was going to ride Emma, but Emma had a hock injection, so no go for her.

When I got back from my lesson, it turned out that the Pony Club had painted Emma the white mare with blue, purple, green, brown, ect paint. There were tiny little hand prints all over Emma. It was quite amusing. Later on she got hosed off, and Ilana, Johnny, Courtney, and I took the left over paint and made her a My Little Pony. It was really cute. We gave her an awesome tail that was like blueish purple. It was beautiful. Then Rika hunted me down and told me to go wash Marshmallow later. But before that I tacked up Marsipan for a pony ride, and handed it over to Julia because I was lazy.

Then a trail ride came in, and I had to take out Katie for the guy, while the others took out the other horses, like Invisible (I luff Invis). Katie gave me a bit of a hard time with her bridle. Because she has a tendency to stick her nose in her water bucket, or hay, when she sees the bridle. So I had to pull her out of it. So she tried to press her nose against the wall. But I just shoved it on her (without hurting her of course). It was quite amusing. Then I helped the guy onto Katie, and adjusted his stirrups for him. He kept changing his mind about it, "Too long, too short, oh wait, too long." I think I wanted to bitchslap him. Lol.

So when everything finally died down, and everything was calm and quiet, I gave Marshmallow a bath. It had gotten a little cold for her, so I did it as fast as I can, but that white horse was damn clean by the time I was done. Very nice, yo. I forgot to give him carrots, but I'd had carrots in my pocket all day, and gave him shitloads earlier before. Man, people were stealing my carrots left and right. Particularly Anna, that crazeh wench. Lol. Fun stuff though, today.

Stardust

I go to visit my bitch Stardust, and Anna says, "Stardust is in Marshie's stall now. We got a new horse." I was like, WHOA! COOL! And then I went to Stardust's old stall, and there was a pretty bay mare there. She licked my nose. I was like, "Wtf horsie, my nose is not a lollypop." Then I took out Professor and groomed him and cleaned his hooves for Joel, cuz for our lesson Joel was going to use Professor. Professor totally got spooked by crazy construction noises next to the barn. They're building a building there.

Yeah...So anyway, my lesson was AMAZING. I had Stardust today, and we did not go to the Shoe! We went on a trail lesson that was absolutely TERRIFIC. Stardust listened to my EVERY FUCKIN' CUE. EVERYTHING. She was SO damn DELIGHTFUL. I couldn't believe she was the same person who tried to fuck with me two weeks ago in the Shoe. Seriously. That bitch was positively wonderful. It was damn crazy how utterly fantastic she was acting. I wanted to hit her too for being such an ass to me two weeks ago, and so fantastic today. Crazy.

Afterwards, I brought her into her new stall, I almost lead her to her old stall, and gave her a carrot which she greedily devoured. Then Joel and I took out Rocky, the blind horse and gave him a good clean washing. Yum yum. So anyway, I decided to take more pictures with my camera phone. w00t!

This is Florida looking at me rather suspiciously. Hmm...

Professor wants to say HELLO and eat my camera phone! Oh noes!

Rocky, the blind horsie who Joel luffs. Joel is my instructor on the other side of Rocky.

Video of Rocky rolling! Wee!

I had Emma again. I saddled her up, put on her bridle, and took her on a trail lesson with Joel who was on Spider. Well, Emma did listen to me in the beginning, but when I asked her for a canter, she put up a lot of fight. Dumb bitch. That and my posting sucks ass for trotting. Shit, man. It just sucks so much. I dunno, I think I just suck. Next week I need to really good. I feel bad, because I feel like I'm waiting my money and time and Joel's time. I really need to improve, and be more aggressive.

Emma's trot just sucks so much, she's so bouncy. Whatever. The lesson was okay, but we went into the Shoe again, and Iliana was their with Anna, and Iliana helped me out a bit, and let me borrow her crop. But I suck with the crop. I can't think and use it at the same time, because my hands are all over the place. It's just so annoying. Gargh.

After my lesson, I helped Rikka teach these kids with Marshmallow. Marshy was okay, except he kept trying to bite me and shit. He's an albino pony that's absolutely gorgeous, but he totally tries to bite people. He bit me, but it wasn't too hard. Except that I now have a black and blue mark on my arm. Whatever, I guess. It's not as bad as when I got bit by Chocolate Chip and Spin Doctor.

Okay, so it's my 17th lesson, and I had Emma. I did well with her, except for the fact that I kinda fuckin' sucked at trotting today. I was bouncing all over the place, and wasn't able to post right. Emma was being perfect, listening to all my cues and everything. But my terrible balance and wanna-be posting totally threw her off. You know what I think it was? It was my pants. They weren't my usual riding pants, cuz I forgot to wash them from the last time. I wore these tight jeans that didn't hurt in the crotch, but made me too scared to move because I was afraid I was gonna rip something. Lolol. I didn't rip anything, but instead it just made me ride bad.

Stardust is so unbelievably good to trot with, and I can post perfectly on her. When she behaves, that is. But at least Emma wasn't fucking with me this time. Though Emma was fucking with me when I moved to put on her bridle. Totally fucking with me. Though I was pretty clumsy today with the bridle and the saddle stuff. I also groomed Katie, and she was fucking with me when I tried to put on her halter. She was eating. Usually she's good. But them damn horses...come between them and their food, and you're like toast. But eventually I yelled at her, and she raised her head, and I caught her there. Lol.

I really need to be more assertive with the horses. I think Joel is getting frustrated with me because I'm too gentle with them, and I need to be more aggressive. I can't help it. I try to be aggressive, but it just doesn't really work that way. Well, I'll try again next week to be more grrr.
